"New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music" is a Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition that explores the early traditions of American music. New Harmonies will visit the Nashville, Ga., Community Center May 18 through June 29, 2013. A local exhibit featuring the history of Berrien County's musical heritage also will be on display at the Berrien County 1898 Courthouse.
Visitors of all ages can look, listen and learn through interactive panels, listening kiosks and tailored displays. Visit the New Harmonies exhibition for an inspiring toe-tapping taste of American roots music. Admission is free.
