The 24th Annual Mountain Top Rodeo will be held June 21-22, 2013, at R-Ranch in the Mountains, Dahlonega, Ga. It will be a highlight on the rodeo circuit not only for all the competitive action, but also for the breathtaking beauty of its North Georgia Mountain location. This year promises to be one of the best years to date with non-stop action, hilarious antics, and more fun than you can handle!
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, June 21 and 22. The rodeo begins at 8:00 p.m. each evening. This is a PCA-sanctioned rodeo. Events include horse riding (bareback and saddle bronc), bull riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, break away roping, team roping and barrel racing.
Join us each evening for the best in family entertainment, lots of great food, and vendors selling Western goods. Food vendors will feature fried greeen tomatoes, corn dogs, hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, sausages, fried dill pickles, snow cones, cotton candy and many other items.
