Historic Madison, renowned as one of Georgia's largest designated National Register of Historic Districts, will celebrate the 2015 spring season in grand style with the region's most popular tour event: Madison in May Spring Tour of Homes & Gardens, hosted by the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center. Join us April 30 - May 2, for this celebration of Southern history, architecture and art! Experience the living history of Madison while strolling through a collection of the city's finest, architecturally significant private homes, including Honeymoon 1851, Serenata Farm c.1850, Jessup-Atkinson House c.1820 and intimate gardens, as well as several historic churches and other notable structures. Together, the grand stuctures and gardens tell the astonishing story of a genteel, gracious city that was spared the torch and devastation of Sherman's 1864 March to the Sea.

The self-guided tour features homes and gardens within walking distance of the Cultural Center and some just a short drive away.
