Magnolia Street Soapbox Derby

The annual Magnolia Street Soap Box Derby race in April coincides with the Second Sunday concert event at Washington Park in the beautiful historic InTown Macon neighborhood on College Hill. Thousands of people will watch up to 40 teams race down Magnolia Street for prizes and bragging rights. This free family event highlights the positive community spirit of Macon.

Sterling Waite and the Cotton Ave. Hustlers will perform at the event, and Second Sunday in the Park will follow, featuring Yacht Rock.

Practice run begins at 12 p.m. Race starts at 3 p.m.
