A huge parade kicks off Woodstock's Independence Day celebration at 10 a.m. on July 4, 2013. The parade starts at Hwy. 92 (old WalMart/Furniture for Less Store) and goes north on Main Street through the Olde Town merchant district to Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Rd.
After the parade, join us in The Park at City Center (101 Arnold Mill Rd.) until 3 p.m. for food, live music with Steven Phillips and Midnight Express Band in the gazebo, children's games, cake walk, arts and crafts, and vendors of all types. The day concludes with fireworks at dusk behind the Target shopping center at Hwy 92 and I-575.
Parade and vendor applications are available at www.woodstockparksandrec.com.
