Southern Grace Farms is owned by the McMillan Family, which are now 8th generation Berrien County farmers. We are located in the western portion of Berrien County, in Enigma, Georgia. We have been traditional row crop farmers since our Scottish Ancestors came to America in 1774. We continue to grow traditional south Georgia crops such as corn, cotton, wheat, peanuts and rye. In 1999, we grew our first fields of U-Pick strawberries and blackberries. Over the years we've tried different places and things, and had a successful run at our field in neighboring Lowndes County, but we finally decided the best way to serve our customers needs is to keep everything here at home...on the farm, in Enigma. We've added peaches, nectarines, blueberries, plums, grapes, and sunflowers to our U-Pick / We Pick fields and now have a seasonal country store displaying our value added products, gift baskets, and Georgia Grown specialty and gourmet items. During the holidays, Southern Grace Farms specializes in locally sourced Georgia Grown gift baskets. While we are not organic, we strive to grow healthy fruit, such as our strawberries and blackberries, using an integrated pest control management, which helps maintain a clean environment.

The farm was incorporated and named Southern Grace Farms by brothers Steve & Tim McMillan. While several names were thrown around, one said they like the phrase that we are Southern by the Grace of God and the farm name was decided. They co-own and operate the farming operation as well as our peanut buying point (Berrien Peanut Company). While it's hard to pin down one specific job title for anyone on the farm, Steve's wife, Laura runs both offices and is accounting/payroll/etc. After college, Steve's daughter, Jennifer came home to help run the U-Pick fields, the peanut buying point, and created an online country store to sell the farm's value added items and gift baskets. While all of the children grew up working on the farm, Steve's son Stephen and Tim's son Daniel have now graduated college and come back to help run the farm.

After the success of the first holiday season making custom ordered gift boxes & baskets for our local customers, we decided to take it online. Every holiday (Christmas especially) we work on creating custom gift baskets for our customers. Each gift basket is custom made when you order by one of our select staff, whether you order 200 gift boxes for your customers to be shipped all over the US, or 1 gift basket for your great grandmother down in Florida. I (Jennifer) love shopping online and I've experienced the good and the bad of online shopping. My goal is for every customer to have a great experience that makes them want to come back for more. There is no mass production, no assembly line, just me and a few trusted others to help me put baskets together and get them shipped out in a timely fashion. We aren't too small and we definitely aren't too big. Every customer counts and every customer's experience matters to me. I know that my actions and our service reflects on our farm and I want you to love our customer service so much you just want to drive on down to Georgia and check it out for yourself!
