The Savannah Historic District is the largest urban National Historic Landmark in the United States. A wide range of architectural styles are represented in this historic city. Take a walking tour with Savannah Dan, a true southern gentleman, or ride along in a Carriage Tour.  Be sure to see the Birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts, which was the first National Historic Landmark in Savannah. Visit the Isaiah Davenport House Museum, a stately example of a Federal-style home that provides a glimpse into 1820’s domestic life in the port city. See one of the finest examples of English Regency architecture in America, the Owens-Thomas House overlooking Oglethorpe Square. Savannah also examples many other architectural styles including Gothic and Greek Revival, Antebellum and more! For more information about Savannah, check out this handy Savannah Travel Guide.
