Join us January 17th, 2022 at 2PM for the 6th Annual Athens MLK Day Parade and Music Fest, brought to you by the United Group of Artists Music Association (UGAMA) and the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM). Parents, children and organizations are invited to attend. In addition to honoring the civil rights leader Martin Luther King, each year organizers Knowa and Mokah Johnson's goal is to unify and promote a more diverse and inclusive community and break racial barriers. Due to the increased youth violence within Athens-Clarke County, the AADM will provide resources, youth empowerment activities, and host a special presentation led by the Teen Social Justice Club. We encourage youth organizations to participate in this parade. To register as a vendor or participant, please visit
