Cathedral Antiques Show
Dealers on the Main Floor bring their finest in furniture, art, jewelry, porcelain, silver, and rugs from across the country, with many returning favorites as well as some newcomers. Interior Design Vignettes by acclaimed Atlanta designers demonstrate their professional takes on integrating antiques with today’s latest home trends. The Flower Festival displays exuberant and innovative floral masterpieces throughout the main floor and sacred spaces of the Cathedral of St. Philip. Don’t miss the wildly entertaining Iron Floral Competition, back this year by popular demand.
The Lecture Series presents four renowned British design professionals:
- Ben Pentreath counts celebrities and
aristocracy among his clients, including the Prince of Wales and the Duke and
Duchess of Cambridge. In addition to his successful London-based architectural
and interior design firm, Ben has authored two books, English Decoration and English
Houses, and is a regular contributor to various journals and publications.
- Nina Campbell is a designer and
business woman with a famous London home accessories and gift shop, an
internationally distributed wallpaper and fabric collection, and an interior
design studio with many high-profile clients that include the Duke and Duchess
of York, Ringo Starr, and Rod Stewart. She is also the author of 5 books on
- Charlie McCormick is a British gardener,
floral designer, stylist and supplier and grower of cut flowers with a large
Instagram following. He has been featured in publications such as Architectural
Digest, Town and Country, and House and Garden.
- Paula Pryke is a world authority on floral art
and the publisher of 18 books on the subject. She is widely recognized as one
of London’s top florists, with a massive flower contract business and an
enviable events department. She has been recognized for revolutionizing the
British Flower Industry and was awarded an OBE in 2014 for her contribution to
floral design in the UK and for her impact and influence overseas. She mentors
and inspires florists all over the world.
A unique pair of Home Tours celebrates two different Atlanta home lifestyles: The Young Collectors’ Home Tour presents four charming and stylish houses that embrace bold design in intimate spaces, while the grand Tour of Homes opens the doors to five of Atlanta’s most extraordinary private residences that showcase the finest in architecture, interior design, and timeless style.
Appraisal services for show attendees feature our version of the famous roadshow. Bring your treasures to a team of experts for verbal appraisals of your fine art, decorative objects, vintage jewelry, small furniture, rugs, and more, as this popular event makes its return to the show.
The Café will be serving lunch daily, as well as afternoon tea, with tempting sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts.
The 2019 beneficiary of the Cathedral Antiques Show is Wilderness Works, receiving 100% of the net proceeds; The Cathedral receives no funding from the Show. Wilderness Works is a non-profit serving Atlanta’s chronically homeless, impoverished and neediest children. It provides year-round enrichment, experiential education and character development through school-season city camps, summer nature camps, and outdoor living field camps in our National Parks. www.wildernessworks.org
