Each spring, the festival brings some of the top storytellers in the state and the country to north Georgia for two days of storytelling, "how to" classes, special programs for children, and more. It's an all-ages event, and with the wide variety of storytellers who will be performing, there's something for everyone to enjoy. This year's featured tellers are Sheila Kay Adams, Charlotte Blake Alston, Noa Baum, Donald Davis, and Gene Tagaban. They will share everything from traditional Appalachian stories to Native American and African American folklore, songs, and moving personal narratives. The festival's venue is accessible, and we will also have sign language interpreters and Braille copies of the event program available.

Tickets are always free for students ages 18 and under and teachers bringing classes. We offer discounts for seniors and military personnel ($15 for one day or $25 for two days), and low prices for general admission ($20 for one day or $35 for two days). Early-bird ticket specials are also available through April 1st on
