Along hills by the Toccoa River, a restored train takes passengers on a four-hour, 26-mile roundtrip route to McCaysville, Ga., and Copperhill, Tenn. Hop on the train, relax and experience the romance of rail travel. The train winds through rolling hills alongside the waters of the Toccoa River. Passengers have a two-hour layover in McCaysville/Copperhill, allowing plenty of time to eat lunch, shop for unique crafts and antiques, snack on ice cream, and walk across the old bridge in town to view the river.

Before boarding the train, pick up the "Along the Way Blue Ridge Scenic Trip Guide" in the Depot Ticket Office or Gift Shop. It includes information about the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and points of interest along the route.

Tucked into the charming mountain village of Blue Ridge, Ga., in the lush Chattahoochee National Forest, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is here to take you on the trip of a lifetime!
