Deep Bend Landing
Waynesville

Located southwest of Brunswick near the Old Post Road dividing Brantley and Glynn counties, Waynesville is named after Revolutionary War Hero General "Mad" Anthony Wayne. Mumford Plantation, built in 1848, survives as one of the two structures on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as a testament to the town's heyday when crowds visited mineral springs bathhouses. Today, enjoy a relaxed and peaceful setting under great oaks and tall pines at  Deep Bend Landing. The camp also serves as a great base for canoe and kayak trips down the Satilla River.
