Bend of the River Cabins & Chalets

Riverfront or woodland cabins and chalets are located in a secluded area between Historic Dahlonega and Alpine Helen. Amenities include satellite dish TV / VCR, telephones, linens, towels, toiletries, hair dryers, kitchen appliances, utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, creamer, and paper products. One cabin has DSL, fax machine, gas or charcoal grills, heat, air conditioning, ceiling fans, fireplaces, and washer and dryer. Dishwashers are offered in larger units. Cabins sleep 2 to 14 people.

We decorate for all seasons, holidays and special occasions. Local activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, gold panning, paddling and tubing. For outdoor activities, we recommend you bring hiking boots or river shoes, towels, small rafts or inner tubes, and a camera. Hiking is available on our private road and river trails. Local attractions include wineries, gold mines, museums, waterfalls, wildlife petting zoo, shopping, art galleries and theater.
