The Northeast Georgia History Center at Brenau University is a not-for-profit institution dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the region.

The Land of Promise ~ An exhibit that tells personal stories of those who have lived in northeast Georgia and serves as a reminder that our land is a land of promise for everyone.
Northeast Georgia Sports Hall of Fame ~ A pictorial tribute to those from northeast Georgia who have achieved national recognition in sports.
Cherokee Chief Whitepath's Cabin ~ Here is an opportunity to see what home life was like for Cherokee Indians.
Other exhibits include "Adventures of Mark Trail," "An American Freedom Garden," "Folk Pottery," " A City Laid Waste" and a "Blacksmith Shop." Temporary exhibits, which change regularly, are also featured.
The Northeast Georgia History Center serves as a unique and popular field trip destination and has available resources for educators to check out for classroom use.
