In 2010, the Elmer Spear Genealogy Library from Madison, Fla., was donated to the society, and the library became the Huxford-Spear Genealogical Library. The collection holds more than 57,000 research books and other materials, including about 16,000 family folders and a large collection of microfilm and microfiche. The library is sustained by membership dues ($35 per family, yearly) and donations. First time visit is free of charge.
