Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and Park is a nonprofit that builds community through the preservation and promotion of the historic and cultural identity of Sandy Springs. Through a public/private partnership with the City of Sandy Springs, Heritage Sandy Springs manages and operates the 4-acre Heritage Green parksite in the heart of the city. Heritage Green is the home of the original springs, for which the city is named, a tiered outdoor entertainment lawn that plays hosts to many outdoor concerts and performances each year, the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum at the Williams-Payne House and a state-of-the-art, recently renovated, facility available for special event rentals.

The Museum offer tours by request during normal operating hours, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10-2. Sometimes the museum does close for weekend programming so please visit the website for those updates.

Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and Park welcome their youngest friends to join for new Turtle Tours! Museum Mascots, Sandy the Chipmunk and Spring the Turtle, make their long-awaited return with some fresh new ideas! Each themed tour includes a story, guided museum exploration, and activities or crafts for children under 5 and their caregivers. Sandy and Spring will host Turtle Tours the second Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Park Hours: Dawn until Dusk Daily

A true "people's park," Heritage Green enriches the quality of life for Sandy Springs residents and visitors through recreational, historical and educational opportunities. Heritage Sandy Springs presents numerous public programs, including the annual Sandy Springs Festival, Concerts by the Springs, Movin' Groovin' Mornings, and a variety of educational programs at the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum.
