Nacoochee Valley Guest House resides in the locally beloved "Crumley Residence." Built in 1920, there are two charming guest rooms and Bernie's Restaurant which has been serving visitors from near and far since 1989. Our inn, centrally located in the heart of North Georgia's Wine Country, has a view of the historic Nacoochee Valley and majestic Sal Mountain. Bernie's at Nacoochee Valley Guest House provides an atmosphere that will leave you refreshed and eager to explore the beautiful area we are blessed to call home.

A short 5 miles drive from Helen, GA on Hwy 17, Bernie's at Nacoochee Valley Guest House is a wonderful spot to explore the area. Operated by a mother/daughter team, Bernie has accumulated over 40 years of her hospitality "know how" into the business that carries her name. Monda, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY also adds 30 years of hands on training in the restaurant industry and strives to maintain the standards of excellence that go hand in hand with her mother's vision. Together they consider it their mission to take care of every detail so you can relax and enjoy the day.

"It's like coming home," many of our customers have told us, "We found a Gem!" Our venue is perfect for small intimate gatherings. Bernie's at Nacoochee Valley Guest House can accommodate up to 60 seated guests and provide services for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, tapas and cocktail hour, and easy breezy or formal evening events. Your time and occasion as well as budget are all things we consider when booking an event. The tables will be set with linens, sterling silver, and fresh flowers to enhance your dining experience.
