Hours of Operation

  • Friday : 9:30am - 11:00am
Murderers and bigamists, spies and perpetrators of fraud. These were St. Marys’ founders!

On this walking tour, stroll St. Marys’ quaint streets named after its 18th-century founders and uncover the escapades of these colorful men on this engaging and interactive walking tour. You will never view the streets of St. Marys the same way again!

  • Stroll St. Marys’ beautiful waterfront and learn why the founders were inspired to create a town at this bluff. Hint: It had to do with protection from a terrifying enemy!
  • Take in peaceful Oak Grove Cemetery, which survives from the time of St. Marys’ founding.
  • View stately historic buildings associated with the founders’ nefarious (and often illegal) deeds.
  • Afterwards, sip the same wine the founders would have enjoyed 200 years ago. The local speakeasy supplies it exclusively for our group!
