Experience a very personal encounter with the Coast's nature and fascinating history through natural history exhibits and first person narration of a "coastie's" life at Station St. Simons in the early 1940's. Visitors can travel back in time with "Coastie" Ollie and his dog Scuttle as they guide you through seven galleries filled with hands-on-exhibits. A long valued part of the local community and region, the Coast Guard Station at East Beach on St. Simons remained an active Coast Guard Station from 1936 until 1995.
