The Arthur J. Moore Methodist Museum was dedicated in June 1966. It was named after the Bishop of the Methodist Church in Georgia who also served in World Wide Missions for over 20 years. The museum has a United Methodist focus, but is seen and appreciated by people of all faiths. The museum contains artifacts gathered by Moore during his travels and is home to thousands of books, paintings, and a large collection of John and Charles Wesley memorabillia. The museum also houses a research library, which is used by students, pastors and many others.
