With luxurious country lodging and gourmet dining, Dunham Farms appeals to those who enjoy a quiet, secluded and beautiful break from the rest of the world. Overnight guests are nestled in the middle of 9,400 private acres of forests, marshes and fields. At the heart of Dunham Farms is a 30-acre estate with sweeping lawns, oak groves, expansive marsh views, historic gardens, and miles of private trails abounding with wildlife.

Palmyra Barn Bed and Breakfast Inn sits perched in an old pecan orchard on a high bluff overlooking unspoiled tidal creeks and beautiful, wildlife-filled salt marsh. Built in 1930 by John Stevens for hay and livestock, Palmyra Barn was lovingly transformed into a comfortable and rustically luxurious inn in 1998. It features 9 spacious, climate-controlled, individually decorated rooms with private bathrooms, fiber optic high-speed Wi-Fi, satellite programming for in-room SmartTVs, and deluxe bedding and bath amenities. Lodging rates include full gourmet breakfast, afternoon hors d'oeuvres, seasonal pool access, use of the trails and heritage gardens, and optional daily thematic tours of the property. With advance notice, dinner, lunch, and kayak excursions are available at an additional charge. With grassy trails for hiking, biking, birding and riding, not to mention flat water kayaking for almost touchable enjoyment of rare birds, dolphins and other wildlife.

Dunham Farms is a magic place...quiet, private, alive with history, wildlife and astonishing natural beauty.

This coastal Georgia farm has been owned and operated by the same family since 1755. The farm offers overnight accommodations, seasonal garden tours, kayaking, luncheons, and facilities for small meetings and retreats. Live Oak Hall can accommodate up to 200 people for meetings, concerts, and special events.

At this time, Dunham Farms does not accommodate weddings, children under 8 years-old, or pets. Overnight guests may bring horses; stabling is available at an additional charge.
