Helen to the Atlantic Hot Air Balloon Race in Helen
Look to the skies as the United States’ only long-distance hot air balloon race rises over the Alpine Village of Helen starting June 4, 2026. While the Helen to the Atlantic Hot Air Balloon Race continues throughout the weekend, other balloonists will compete in events in Helen with balloon flights each day.
Labor Day Weekend Hot Air Balloon Show & Glow in Pine Mountain
Go up, up, and away on Labor Day weekend at Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain. In addition to the regular Callaway lineup of fun, the Hot Air Balloon Show & Glow lights up each night on Robin Lake Beach, and fireworks take over the sky.
Atlanta Air Show in Peachtree City
Expect to see dramatic, high-flying stunts at the Atlanta Air Show on Oct. 11-Nov. 1, 2026, at Atlanta Regional Airport – Falcon Field in Peachtree City. The event will feature flight performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and some of the nation’s top civilian pilots, as well as aircraft displays on the ground.
