Join us for a small town holiday celebration on Nov. 30, 2018, in downtown Greensboro as we flip the switch on "the big tree" on the courthouse lawn. Hundreds of twinkling lights decorate the streets as downtown shops stay open late to help visitors get started with their holiday shopping. There will be live performances from area choirs and, of course, a visit from Santa! You will be able to get your picture made with him, as well.

Breakfast with Santa at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee

Dec. 8, 15, 16 and 22 from 8 - 11:30 a.m., children of all ages will delight in attending Breakfast with Santa at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, where your child's wish list can be shared with him personally. Young guests will enjoy a breakfast buffet featuring miniature pancakes, muffins, waffles and other pint-sized breakfast items. Reservations are required and priced $55 per adult and $35 per child, ages 4 to 12. Children under the age of 3 are complimentary. Holiday Parade and Caroling by Candlelight in Town Park

Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, from 4-7 p.m., celebrate the holiday season in small-town style; come to Madison for the Holiday Parade and Caroling by Candlelight! The Holiday Parade will feature floats, walking groups, vintage cars, horses, dogs, dancers, and the award-winning MCHS Marching Bulldog Band, all decorated to this year’s theme, "Deck the Halls." After the parade, join us for an evening full of music and holiday spirit. Local choral groups, bands and community-based musicians will perform holiday carols certain to warm our hearts. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the Elves will be on hand to hear Christmas wishes. Warm your hands with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and tasty marshmallows roasted over an open flame.

Light Up the Night Christmas Parade Downtown Eatonton

Dec. 8, the parade will start at 6 p.m. with Santa available afterward at the library for photos. Hot chocolate and snacks will be provided.

Christmas at Stepback in Eatonton

The annual Christmas open house at Stepback, a community of one, will take place on Dec. 8, 2018, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at 176 Dennis Station Road in Eatonton, Georgia. This community was built to remind us all of days gone by. It is a celebration of the way middle Georgia families lived and worked for so many years.
