If you are looking to stay active on spring break, you might try kayaks, canoes, paddleboards or the resort’s outdoor heated pool. Or experience something new and take a ride on a segway around the gorgeous property. If you're looking for a slower pace, you'll find plenty of areas to relax whether reading in a hammock or enjoying nightly s'mores by the campfire. Golf Lake Oconee
Enjoy a father-son day at Harbor Club for golf (while the ladies shop in downtown Greensboro). If you are staying at The Ritz-Carlton or Reynolds, you have access to all five of Reynolds courses. Is your child an aspiring golfer? They may enjoy and benefit from a private lesson at The Reynolds Kingdom of Golf, presented by TaylorMade, which is open Tuesday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. Dad might even want to splurge on a pair of custom fit clubs while he's there.
Rent a Boat
Take the entire family out for the day on a boat or jet ski. Many rental services also provide tubes and wakeboards. Experience what an entire day on Lake Oconee feels like, and don't forget to swing by the Jumping Rock, a local favorite! If you are feeling hungry after a few hours in the sun, dock your boat at The Ritz-Carlton for lunch at Gaby’s By The Lake and enjoy the lakefront views.
