Even the youngest riders can enjoy Durhamtown Off Road Resort. Rent an off road dirt bike or four-wheeler in a variety of sizes, and don’t worry about the little ones getting caught up in the chaos. Durhamtown offers a track for children ages 8 and younger exclusively called the Armadillo Track. The Peewee Youth Track for those 13 and younger might also be the perfect spot for your family. Durhamtown has available cabin and RV rentals or tent camping sites, which are also pet-friendly.

Enjoy a father-son day at Harbor Club for golf (while the ladies shop in downtown Greensboro). If you are staying at The Ritz-Carlton or Reynolds, you have access to all five of Reynolds courses. Is your child an aspiring golfer? They may enjoy and benefit from a private lesson at The Reynolds Kingdom of Golf, presented by TaylorMade, which is open Tuesday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. Dad might even want to splurge on a pair of custom fit clubs while he's there.
