Along "Depot Row" you can tour the historic 1944 train depot, now called the E.L. Greenway Welcome Center and is listed on the on the National Register of Historic Places. Following the walkway you will be guided to the Southern Railroad caboose X556 from 1971 that offers an exhibit inside and you will not want to miss the next landmark that is Mildred's Country Store, which is full of local antiques from barberchair and baby stroller to agicultural tools that many may have never seen! The final stop along "Depot Row" is the Elberta Train Deopt, the restoration of this building is enough to blow you away. The Elberta Train Depot will soon be a heritage center highlighting the intertwined history of the local community. Located along the railroad tracks, one can sit and enjoy train watching while have a picnick with the family.
