Fishing at Lake Seminole State Park
Bainbridge

Welcome to Bainbridge! Here, you'll discover the true beauty of the Old South and experience the graciousness of Southern hospitality. In 2009, the Georgia State Legislature declared Bainbridge the "Bass Capitol of Georgia." The Flint River and Lake Seminole offer abundant fishing and water sports. Both attract thousands of amateur and professional fishermen, and many top bass tournaments are held throughout the year.

Bainbridge has more than 200 hotel rooms and several campgrounds, many with cabins or houses for rent. Nearly 50 restaurants will allow you to find the perfect meal at breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you're looking for a space to host your meeting or convention, the Charles H. Kirbo Center boasts of 33,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 500-seat auditorium. Be sure to visit one of our family-friendly festivals, including River Town Days in May, the city's July 4 Celebration and the Flint River Showdown Drag Boat Races, which are held each September.
