Chattahoochee River Environmental Education Center (CREEC) is located in the Jones Bridge unit in Johns Creek, Ga. It is used for scheduled school field trips, conferences and special events. Interested teachers should visit for information on free programs for school groups.

The park is open from 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.

    Enjoy an evening of stories, songs and sounds of the park. Meet the evening's special guest: an owl from the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Venture out on a guided night hike and listen for the night time sounds along the Chattahoochee River. Afterward, warm up around the campfire.

    Dress for the weather; wear warm, comfortable outdoor clothes and shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Don't forget your graham crackers, chocolate bars and flashlight!
