Get fired up in Dublin during the St. Patrick's Pig in the Park BBQ Championship at Market on Madison beginning with the kick-off of Downtown Dublin's First Friday Concert Series on Friday at 6 p.m., featuring live performances. Grab your lawn chairs and coolers as downtown spices up with live musical performances, local BBQ and fun for the kids.
The competition heats up as the BBQ Championship continues Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as teams compete for bragging rights and cash prizes. Pig in the Park BBQ Championship pits competitors against each other in three categories: ribs, pulled pork and chicken with first, second, and third place awarded in each division. Savor the sights and smells as Dublin fires up with kiddie rides, free BBQ samples, live music, and more!
