Historic Heartland
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this is one of the oldest surviving public cemetery/parks in the United States. Beautiful terraced hills overlook the Ocmulgee River. Many famous Macon citizens are interred here, including some 600 Civil War soldiers and Southern Rock 'n Roll legend Duane Allman.
