This 2.5-acre park adjacent to Springfield Baptist Church celebrates the legacy and aspirations of the oldest black church in the United States and the community from which it sprang. A reflecting pool, bronze historical plaques and a 45-foot stainless-steel sculpture by Richard Hunt highlight the park.
