The Cornelia Apple Blossom BBQ Festival

When we say you can smell our butts for miles, we aren't being rude! Professional and amatuer BBQ teams will be cooking to compete for some big prize money and the bragging rights as the best BBQ cook in town.

The professional contest is a Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event and is part of the Georgia BBQ Championship series. See what it takes to be a champion BBQ cook. Our contest will feature some of the best cooks from the Southeast that have been featured on TV shows like BBQ Pitmasters and the Food Network.

In addition to BBQ, live entertainment and kids activities will keep your family busy all day. Attendees can sample BBQ and other food from teams participating in Friday and Saturday People's Choice categories, as well as from other food vendors. Stop into the beer/wine garden for suggestions on pairing with great bbq.
