    Epic of Flight: A Folk Tale

    Evan Jones, a native of Cashiers, North Carolina, was inspired by a book series called 'The Epic of Flight' which chronicles the history of human aviation.

    According to his artists' statement for this exhibit, he was interested in making associations between birds and airplanes. Growing up, he has always been fascinated with vintage warplanes and by bird watching his mother's bird feeder, waiting to see what would visit.

    Ellis Island: The Lost Mural Exhibit

    Ellis Island: The Lost Mural features a ninety-foot recreation of the destroyed mural which surrounded the immigrant dining hall in Ellis Island. Original paintings of famous American immigrants by Andrew Sabori are also included. The story of immigration to America and its impact in Southwest Georgia is told throughout the exhibit.

    The Albany Museum of Art is pleased to announce Pulp Icons: Cast Paper and Prints by New York artist Stewart Nachmias. The exhibit is vibrant and colorful with dynamic lines influenced heavily by German expressionism.
