The Wharf

The Wharf is the island's only waterfront restaurant and bar, located on the historic district pier. They offer live music every Thursday through Sunday, nautical-themed decor, indoor and outdoor seating. Dig into a menu of Southern favorites which includes traditional Lowcountry seafood boils, fried green tomatoes, a curated list of local craft beers and more.

The Jekyll Market
The Jekyll Market is a gourmet grocery store selling specialty ingredients. Pick up fresh seafood and gourmet pantry fare to take home, or let one of the four onsite restaurants do the cooking. Grab a sub sandwich from Boardwalk Deli or seafood platter from Love Shack, pick up dessert at A Sweet Shop Named Sprinkles and cap off the evening with a frozen cocktail on the patio at Long Neck's Beer Filling Station and Wine.

Zachry's Riverhouse
Local institution Zachry's Riverhouse is a great place for seafood, burgers, wings and salads. Savor fresh-caught Georgia shrimp, blackened swordfish and more on a porch overlooking the Jekyll River. No reservations are accepted at this laid-back locale, so it's recommended that you arrive early on weekends.

Sunrise Grille
A short walk from the convention center is Sunrise Grille, a great local diner-style restaurant in Beach Village. Casual American fare is on offer for breakfast, lunch, dinner, as is a full bar. Dine indoors or on the pet-friendly patio. Be sure to ask about daily specials, which range from specialty burgers to local seafood platters.

Driftwood Bistro
Driftwood Bistro at Villas by the Sea is among the most beloved Jekyll Island restaurants. Enjoy Lowcountry fare with favorites like blackened Wild Georgia shrimp (shrimp and grits is their signature dish) and stuffed flounder alongside signature side dishes. Don't skip Augusta's Bread Pudding, a decadent house-made dessert based on the owners' family recipe.
