More than 8 million lights make up the displays, Santa welcomes children to tell him what they want for Christmas, and the Christmas Village is open for shopping. In 2020, a scene titled Magical Field of Lights made its debut to mark the 29th year of this spectacular Christmas event! The Field of Lights scene is nearly two football fields long, featuring a Christmas tree more than 10 stories tall, making it the tallest Christmas tree in the South. Fantasy In Lights occurs each year at Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. The site is just an hour from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and 45 minutes from Columbus, Georgia, and 90 minutes from Montgomery, Ala.

There are no public transportation options to get to Callaway Resort & Gardens. The entrance is 15 minutes from Interstate 185 via exit 34 or 30.
Guests can stay overnight at Callaway Resort & Gardens and enjoy ticket packages to Fantasy in Lights. Overnight stays at the Lodge and Spa, Cottages and Villas include shuttle service to the Christmas Village and daily gardens admission. Weekend nights fill up fast during the holiday season.
Tickets are priced in three categories: value, prime and super prime nights. On value dates, admission is $24.95 for adults and $19.95 for children ages 3 to 11. Admission on prime nights rises to $34.95 for adults and $29.95 for children ages 3 to 11. On super prime nights, adults are $39.95, and children 3-11 are $34.95.
Other things to do while you’re there
Callaway Resort & Gardens is near a number of Georgia’s most popular destinations. It’s across the street from F.D. Roosevelt State Park. Down the road, you can enjoy a visit to Roosevelt’s Little White House State Historic Site. A bit farther south, you’ll find the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center at Fort Moore. Just a short distance north is LaGrange, where visitors can explore Hills & Dales Estate, the historical home of the Callaway family, and the Biblical History Center.
