Just outside of town, the main attraction is white-water rafting on the nationally designated "Wild & Scenic" Chattooga River. The Chattahoochee National Forest offers a wide range of recreation and wilderness areas, including Willis Knob, with camping and trails for horse enthusiasts, waterfalls, and overlooks. An eclectic shopping experience, Timpson Creek Gallery has an art gallery, a specialty food shop and handcrafted rustic furniture. Must stops include Tiger Mountain Vineyard, Stonewall Creek Vineyards, and Kingwood Resort & Golf Club.
